Philippines: Novelties, licenses and subsidies
|
The 2025 Guest of Honour arouses curiosity: around 200 people registered for the webinar "New literary and non-fiction titles from the Philippines" back in June. The event presented a series of Philippine publishers, representative of the publishing landscape. The titles offered for license sale ranged from narrative literature (e.g. crime novels, social novels, new adult) to essays and sophisticated non-fiction. The English-speaking event is available in Frankfurter Buchmesse's online media library.

The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, 20 October 2024, in Frankfurt's Paulskirche.
