We're inviting all exhibitors to shape the official stage programme of Frankfurter Buchmesse 2025! Whether it’s a panel with top authors, or a deep dive into industry trends, the stage programme and digital formats of Frankfurter Buchmesse 2025 offer diverse opportunities to present your business to the media, as well as to a wide professional and general audience. Ideas for the #fbm25 programme can be submitted until 9 May.

Frankfurter Buchmesse's new Frankfurt Fellowship Network offers industry professionals from all over the world an intensive training and networking experience with stops in Frankfurt and Zurich from 5 to 20 October 2025. It combines the renowned international Frankfurt Fellowship and Frankfurt Invitation Programmes for the first time. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their companies at Frankfurter Buchmesse. Application deadline: 16 May 2025. |

Frankfurt Rights Meeting - early bird tickets |
Get your Early Bird tickets for the Frankfurt Rights Meeting before 31 May. Rights and licensing professionals will gain insights into trending topics at four online sessions in September, followed by an exclusive networking reception with a keynote speech on the exhibition grounds on Tuesday, 14 October. This year's topics are: Spanish-language markets, digital licensing, licensing and merchandising, and AI. |

Book-to-screen matchmaking for publishers and agencies |
Until 5 May, applications are open for the exclusive book-to-screen matchmaking session in cooperation with Berlinale Co-Production Market at Frankfurter Buchmesse on Friday, 17 October 2025. Publishers and agents will meet film producers to discover and discuss books with a potential for film or series adaptation. |

+++ OCULUS: between fact and fiction +++ Until 18 May, the Heidelberger Kunstverein is showing the exhibition OCULUS, inspired by the Filipino national hero José Rizal, who trained as a medical specialist in Heidelberg, Germany. The exhibition is part of the cultural programme of the Philippines, Guest of Honour at Frankfurter Buchmesse 2025. Read more
